SAFETY

"It’s the fastest growing shooting sport in North America!"

Cowboy Action Shooting is one of the safest shooting sports available today. Each contestant is "shadowed" by a Range Officer while shooting the course of fire or on stage. The Range Officer is there, not only to ensure safety, but to assist the shooter when required.

Novice shooters wear coloured arm bands, so other shooters and Range Officers can give them special attention and assistance when required.

New shooters will find they are welcomed by those already in the sport and will be offered a lot of encouragement, suggestions and even equipment. Cowboy Action Shooters are a friendly bunch!
